Drew this Sabres logo on the train yesterday with Paper for iPad.
Buffalo pulls off a dramatic come-from-behind 6-5 win vs. Leafs in overtime. Trailed 3-0 early in this one and 5-3 in the third. Their playoff hopes are still alive, tied with Washington with 2 games left (Caps have tiebreaker though).

Cody Hodgson is a BUFFALO SABRE! Nice move, Darcy.
This was fantastic. And yeah, it inspired me to start this new Tumblr.

Vs. DALLAS (2-10-12): Derek Roy scores with 38 seconds left to tie the game. Sabres win 3-2 in a shootout.
I was at Nassau Coliseum in Long Island for the Islanders-Sabres game tonight. This was my first time ever at this arena. Buffalo lost 4-2, though it was certainly exciting; New York scored the winner with 3 minutes left in regulation and Vanek had a penalty shot with a minute left but hit the post. The Isles then iced it with an empty netter. I’ve now been to these 6 arenas outside of Buffalo for NHL games: Nassau Coliseum (Long Island), Prudential Center (New Jersey), Madison Square Garden (New York), Wachovia Center (Philadelphia), United Center (Chicago), Rogers Arena (Vancouver).
Jhonas Enroth is 23 years old, calm, cool and collected, and off to a 5-0 start with the Buffalo Sabres as Ryan Miller’s “backup.” This quote after last night’s 5-1 win over Ottawa embodies why I think he’s awesome:
“I have to stay humble,” Enroth said. “Hockey is a sport where it can turn around quick. I go out there and try to play every game like it would be my last game.” [SOURCE]
Watching the Sabres home opener on my iMac with new speakers through NHL GameCenter LIVE. We ended up losing 4-3 but entertaining game!
The NHL regular season is back, and the Buffalo Sabres won their first game (always a good sign) 4-1 over Anaheim in Helsinki, Finland. Then they won their second game 4-2 over Los Angeles in Berlin, Germany today. Perfect start to the season. Now it’s back to North America. Let’s Go Buffalo!
