1. I was at Nassau Coliseum in Long Island for the Islanders-Sabres game tonight. This was my first time ever at this arena. Buffalo lost 4-2, though it was certainly exciting; New York scored the winner with 3 minutes left in regulation and Vanek had a penalty shot with a minute left but hit the post. The Isles then iced it with an empty netter. I’ve now been to these 6 arenas outside of Buffalo for NHL games: Nassau Coliseum (Long Island), Prudential Center (New Jersey), Madison Square Garden (New York), Wachovia Center (Philadelphia), United Center (Chicago), Rogers Arena (Vancouver).
